Mirabaud Asset Management has been led by CEO Umberto Boccato since 1 January 2025.

Umberto joined Mirabaud in 2005, taking on various investment-related roles, including as Head of Investments at Mirabaud Asset Management (MAM) and become Deputy Managing Director in 2020. He holds a Master’s of Business Administration from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles.

Lionel Aeschlimann

Lionel Aeschlimann is Senior Managing Partner of Mirabaud SCA, the Group’s holding company. He joined Mirabaud & Cie SA in 2010 as member of the Executive Committee. He was previously a partner in a Swiss law firm, where he led the firm’s banking and finance practice. He is a qualified lawyer (Bern and Geneva), has a postgraduate diploma in European law (Seville) and a Master’s (LLM) in European law (College of Europe, Bruges).

Camille Vial

Camille Vial is Managing Partner of the Mirabaud Group and CEO of Mirabaud & Cie SA, representing the seventh generation of the founding family. She is also Board member of Mirabaud Asset Management (Suisse) SA. Since joining the bank in 2001, she has held a variety of roles across HR, investment strategy, relationship and portfolio management. As a passionate promoter of innovative, efficient and sustainable finance, Camille sits on the Fédération des Entreprises Romandes management board and the strategy & surveillance committee of Sustainable Finance Geneva, as well as being a board member for the Institute for Studies in Finance & Banking and the EPFL Plus Foundation. She holds a Master’s degree in mathematics from the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL).

Christopher Fawcett

As senior investment officer and a member of the investment committee at Permal Investment Management Securities Services Limited, Christopher Fawcett has extensive experience in asset management, especially alternative investments. Fawcett also sits on the board of the Alternative Investment Management Association (AIMA), the global representative of the hedge fund industry, and serves as a director for the Hedge Fund Standards Board Limited.

Christina Pamberg

Christina Pamberg joined the board in 2023. She brings to the role more than 25 years in investment management, both in the quoted investment and alternative investments space. Her experience ranges from roles as a listed equity research analyst with Salomon Smith Barney to private equity firms such as HarbourVest Partners and Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. (KKR). Christina also holds a number of non-executive board roles in the financial services and private equity space. More notably, she sits on the board of Invest Europe, the European private equity trade association in Brussels and is a co-founder of Level20, a not-for-profit organisation set up to inspire women to join and succeed in the private equity industry. She holds a BA from Amherst College and an MBA from INSEAD.
